How can I get the control back from my Narcissistic girlfriend?

My girlfriend is a complete narcissist, She is emotionally abusive and has put me at the end of my rope. I am so close to leaving her although I am really scared. It sounds very odd. People do make these things up. First of all, the only way to know if somebody was a bone marrow donor match would be to test their bone marrow (even siblings, mothers, fathers, etc are often not matches). There is no way to tell by looking. Also, 2 years is a long time to have such a severe disease as leukemia without looking very ill and having any treatment. It would be very odd for her doctors to not recommend the most aggressive treatments giving her age and having children at home. I would either approach her honestly that you think she is lying, or chose to not believe anything she says until you have more solid proof. Most likely it is just a way for her to get attention that she is lacking.

5 1/2 weeks pregnant, progesterone 8.4...hCg looking good. Should I be worried?

I am a worrier, so naturally, when I got a call from the doctor with my initial bloodwork results today, I was a little upset and concerned to hear that my progesterone was at 8.4. My doctor didn't seem as concerned as I was, but put me on Prometrium 100mg, once a day. My HcG had doubled, which was goodness but I'm not sure how concerned I should be. Has anyone had lower progesterone and then gone on to have a successful pregnancy? Any help would be much appreciated!

Anyway by the time monday comes everyone at school is talkin about it even teachers.. And just its horrible, then a week later on the day that was going to be our 6 months he texts me telling me he realllllllly likes my friend(yeah my FRIEND) and kissed he 3 times at school and he doesn't know if she feels the same or is trying to just make him happy and not hurt his feelings. I tell him idk and I'm mad cuz uhm hello she's my freaking friend! soo..a few months ago i had a bad hair episode...my hair started to shed mively after i lost immense amount of weight, went through multiple tooth extractions, had a death in my family, and developed iron deficiency anemia as a consequence of the severe physical/emotional stress..so one day i made an impulsive decision and chopped off all my hair (i didn't shave it but cutt it supper short) i used to have gorgeous thick curly hair a year ago...so now i am wearing a wig and growing it all out (my hair grows fast so i'm guessing i should have a considerable amount of it back in no time)...ne ways i recently met this guy and we click really well..we are physically attracted to each other but i dont know how to tell him about my hair....i fear his reaction. Will I need to have tooth extraction if my frontal tooth has slight movement?

I had a recent accident where I broke 1/2 of my frontal tooth and had crown reconstruction. But, the neighboring frontal was in a lot of pain, with no breakage. Now this same tooth moves slightly if I push my tongue into it when I chew food. My accident was in late October, and I did not experience this movement until a few days ago. I am really paranoid about it falling out or getting more loose and needing extraction. Should I really be worried or is it normal to feel some movement? OK. The other night, my sister and I had a craving for some food from the local gas station. It was late at night, and right before we pulled into the lot, our favorite song came on. We pulled a little out of the way to hear the end of the song, and noticed a car in an adjacent lot, door wide open, and an old lady slouched across the wheel. We pulled over, beeped the horn, flashed the lights at her, but she didn;t move!!! We were too scared just to go over to her. We called 911. Turns out it was just a homeless lady, getting some rest. She was OK, and everyone just left her alone. Now, I feel like a fool and that I wasted everyones time. I mean, they sent an ambulance, the police, AND a firetruck!!! What would you have done and did I waste their time?

Fan doesnt kick on and it sttarts to overheat?

I have a 92 firebird 305tbi. The fan doesnt kick on it get to about 240 degrees than I just shut the car off. This only happens when it idles. Otherwise the gauges stay where the are suppose to they dont go up or down after the car is at temp its suppose to be at. The fan kicks on when I turn the a/c on. I dont know if it the fan, temperature sensor or relay. I would sure like some input on this so I can figure it out. Also on one website they say that they run hot. Do I dare let it get above 240 degrees to see if the fan kicks on? It overheated a couple of months ago at idle and had to replace radiator and thermostat. The fan use to kick on when I turned the key on when I first bought the car right before overheating and now nothing.

Are LPN's being phased out?

You know you did post this is renting! LPNs sorta come & go. To be honest they were going to be "phased out" when I was in nursing school in the last century. Also, RNs are generally too expensive to work in many areas, especially where their training is just not necessary. So, I really doubt it. They may be phased out in certain areas but not completely. Even if they are, most LPNs would simple move up to RN with more training if they are interested.

Why is one muscle bigger than the other?

Ok I'm right handed, but my left side of my body is more ripped than the right. My left tricep is bigger and mor cut than my right, my left calf is more ripped and has a better shape than my right one. But when I lift weights i could lift the same in both arms like tricep extensions, but when I work out my triceps it always feels like my left one burns more than the right on(left is bigger one). Paper Towels in Compost Bins?

I've been composting for years and put all paper products into it. You can shred it for quicker decomposition but it's not necessary. I put all food scraps except dairy, bone, meat and grease. That helps keep the critters out. I also put in it daily coffee grounds and filter, tea bags, any stale food ie chips, cookies (with 4 kids, lots of waste). I throw a couple hand fulls of pine needles and leaves on top of each bowl of kitchen stuff. Dump a bucket of water on it weekly. Done. When that bin is full (5 ft round container) I let it sit and start another one. Hope this helps.

Well you could I suppose draw a very simple version of the guitar... then use math and scale it up... use a starting point in the center of the pix to begin your scale line... you can do this onto tracing paper that you can buy in large sheets at the fabric store... (they call it something else, it will be in grid form you can buy it by the yard for about 1 dollar a yard (very thin paper, (I would buy it to draw clothing onto it and then cut it out and put it on fabric to trace and cut).. then once you get it traced the way you want to, cut it out, tack it to your wall and trace around it! good luck, hope this helped.

Stretch very well before you run. Make sure you run on your toes, not your heels. When running, keep your face relaxed and not tightened. Don't stiffen your muscles, run relaxed. Maybe if she signs out of her account, then restarts the computer it might come back. In the New Mail it doesn't say check all, it says Select all, but on windows 95 I don't believe she has the new mail. It's difficult, next to impossibe to load on older versions because of all the upgrades it needs. I have not encountered this happening to anyone else. Yahoo may be in the middle of upgrading her clic mail, which will cause glitches in the beginning. I had things not appear at first, but then it resolved itself.

My new house stinks!?

I just moved into army housing, and they recently varnished the wood floor, and it STINKS! Also, it's completely obvious that whoever lived there before never cleaned, the fridge smells like rotten I-don't-know-what. I'm having the fridge replaced, but does anybody know how to get bad smells out of an entire house? It smells like old people, varnish, and rancid oil. Is there any free or discounted service that does lead and mold testing for low income families. I am in the baby proofing stage and something I hadn't given much thought to until now is the lead paint and mold spore issues. I live in an older house (pre 1978) and I'm quite sure there must be areas with lead paint and probably some molds in the damp root cellar attached to the basement or perhaps even in the bathroom, which has a somewhat rotted window ledge on the window in the shower (I know, I'm working on getting that fixed). Speaking from personal experience as a former phlebotomist. Syringes are thrown away with the needles. No phlebotomist who is smart and knows what they are doing will recap a used needle. That is very dangerous. All laboratories have multiple hazardous waste boxes to dispose of needles and syringes. Most laboratories only use syringes when necessary. Mostly a vacutainer is used. This device allows the person drawing the blood to just insert the tube into the hub and the vaccuum from the tube draws out the blood. It is more complicated to draw blood using a syringe. You have nothing to fear going to a reputable laboratory or hospital for blood work.

Please Help ABS Brake Issues?

I have asked for help on this problem and have several good answers but still have issues, What started problem was my right front wheel on my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 sheared off (lugs) about 35 MPH, it destroyed brake rotor and custom wheel, fixed this problem, now when coming to a slow stop right front ABS brake is activiating, it has been in Les Swab three times, first brake sensor replaced, still same problem, there computor they hooked up says the wheel is turning faster than the others while braking, so they replaced wheel bearing, problem is much better but still once in awhile towing my boat coming to a slow stop it activates, ABS light never does come on, every thing is new on right side, any help would be appreciated, I am tired of spending hundreds of dollars and still having issues and not be able to trust truck thanks for any help

I can't speak to California law specifically but I've rented in many different states and find this issue pretty similar everywhere. In general a landlord can show your place while you are still in it. The catch is that usually the landlord has to give you some kind of advance notice when they will be doing it-call it fair warning if you will. I'd guess that different states require slightly different time frames for how much advance warning you are allowed-weather it is hours or days. If it's a good landlord it would be in good taste to do this regardless of the law. Good communication between both parties works best for everyone. Hopefully the tenant would make an effort to tidy up in return which would help the landlord rent the place out faster. Try calling your landlord to talk to him-offer to work with him with the showings (cleaning, offering to temporarily be out, etc.) if he'd give you some amount of time's notice before showings.
