Are LPN's being phased out?

You know you did post this is renting! LPNs sorta come & go. To be honest they were going to be "phased out" when I was in nursing school in the last century. Also, RNs are generally too expensive to work in many areas, especially where their training is just not necessary. So, I really doubt it. They may be phased out in certain areas but not completely. Even if they are, most LPNs would simple move up to RN with more training if they are interested.
