I have a track meet tommorrow what can i do to optimally perform?
First of all, you should get a good night's rest the night before a track meet. Second, don't eat big meals the day of the track meet. Try not to eat anything heavy such as pizza or pasta. Third, when you wake up the day of the track meet, take a hot shower. It will wake you up. You shouldn't eat big meals the day before either. Don't eat or drink any dairy products. Stretch very well before you run. Make sure you run on your toes, not your heels. When running, keep your face relaxed and not tightened. Don't stiffen your muscles, run relaxed. Move your arms very fast when running. Your legs move as fast as your arms do. Have positive thoughts. Good luck.
