BackStabbing Friends?

how do you you deal with a back stabbing ex friend that wants to blame you for everything. My fiancee is in the hospital and she has the to say i put him there and I didn't He needed to go in for evaluation on his medications. First thing she said was send his credit card home so he can have cigs personally i don't care about his money they all think i do we have moved our wedding until later when we both are financially ready but they harp on money what am i to do ?
