Kurdistan should we push for a sovereign Kurdish nation hoping they will control Kirkuk?

I do not think the Turks would be very happy with that. Currently In iraq their is a sort of De facto Kurdistan, because that area has pretty much been stable and really has not required a US presence to ensure its stability. It has pretty much taken care of itself and is waiting to see how the rest of the country will work out.
