How do i put my own music on my- myspage page..step by step instruction please!!?

I hqve my own cd and i want to put a song or 2 on my myspace page now i read somethings about getting it put to code,I do not understand how do to that either,do i need to buy something certain ??there is just no way of puttin it form my cd drive on my pc and downloading it on my pc and then put it in my page,i need a step by step how to do it..any and all help will be greatly appreciated..
