An edited and rebirthed poem, care to lend an ear?

Beautifully done in my opinion, but then I think you've been on a roll lately! I remember the earlier version of this and though the message has not changed (BECAUSE IT'S YOU!!) the tone and sensibilities have. You are more reflective here, perhaps a little less raw but deeper for it. You have matured as a philosopher in two days, no mean feat! There is so much wreathing and so many echoes here, but without the rhyming couplets of the earlier piece. I like the step up in subtlety and can only compliment you for a job well done.
